Your Favorite Post-Impressionist Artists and the Color Palettes They Use

Post-Impressionism was a 19th century art movement that rejected the naturalism of Impressionism. Post-Impressionist painters tended to favor a more expressive use of color and form when compared to artists of other genres. We discovered that Post-Impressionism was primarily made up of French, male artists from the years 1886 and 1905. Still, we found and included paintings created after 1905, female artists, and artists from various ethnic and national backgrounds.

This visualization aims to facilitate the comparing and contrasting of color palettes among Post-Impressionist artists.
